Suunto Heart Rate Transmitter

Suunto Comfort Belt Transmitter
Designed to be an upgrade over previous Suunto heart rate transmitters, the Comfort Belt is made of fabric, and has special traction strips to ensure that the belt stays in place during a workout without needing to be overly tightened. Additionally, it is water resistant to a depth of several meters, and can be used in the rain. It is not, however, meant to be used while swimming, as the electrical connection made with the body is broken under water.
The Suunto Comfort Belt uses the ANT and IND standards for transmitting data, which means that you can pair it with a wide variety of devices, even those that are not made by Suunto. If you do not own a Suunto fitness watch yet, but would like a heart rate monitor to use in the gym, check to see whether your favorite fitness equipment supports ANT or IND - most equipment does. If so, the Suunto Comfort Belt can be used. Thanks to the ANT standard for wireless transmission, you can be confident that your signal will not encounter interference from other nearby wireless devices. This high level of reliability makes the Suunto Comfort Belt an excellent choice for anyone interested in purchasing their first heart rate monitor, or in upgrading an existing one.
