While you train, the PC15 will constantly report whether you are within your target zone, and how many calories are being burned in the process.
For serious endurance athletes, the PC15 features the full sports timing functionality that would be expected of a much more expensive fitness computer. The stopwatch is able to save timings and average heart rates for up to 50 laps for later review, while also showing you the range of heart rates that you achieved during the workout, and the maximum heart rate recorded.

Although the PC15 is an extremely full featured fitness watch that can be used by anyone from a complete beginner to a serious competitive athlete, it is worth noting that navigating the unit's many menus can be a bit confusing for some. The PC15 has been replaced by Sigma's more recent Onyx series, which features a much more intuitive menu system. On the other hand, the Onyx Pro, a unit with features comparable to those of the PC15, costs a great deal more. If you are willing to take the time to read the instruction manual and learn how to navigate the menus, you will find that the PC15 represents a great bargain in a world of equipment that can sometimes come at a very high cost.
